On March 1, 2022, Terragreen acquired 100% of the shares of International Machine Transport Inc., with operational headquarters in Abbotsford, B.C., Canada, and 100% of the shares of International Machine Transport USA, Inc., with operational headquarters in Dallas, TX, USA (collectively, the “IMT Group”).
The acquisition of the IMT Group is a significant step in achieving our goals of economically reducing pollution. While we are unlikely to use much of the fuel produced by our plant directly within IMT, the expansion of our plants can help the heavy-duty trucking industry as a whole. We are leveraging the financial backing of IMT to provide a firsthand basis for identifying the environmental challenges within this sector of the trucking industry, leading to potential development and resolution of their pollution issues. The insider knowledge from IMT allows us to focus on solutions that are not greenwashing but economically viable for IMT and others within the sector.
The IMT Group is operationally integrated and provides long-haul transportation services for specialized freight, particularly aero-space components (aircraft engines, satellites, and related components), helicopters, and mill rolls for pulp mills throughout Canada and the United States. Their websites are www.imtbc.com and www.imtusa.aero.
Since 1992, IMT’s specialized ground transport services have been the preferred partner with aviation logistics and other specialty application entities. National Defense agencies in Canada and the United States, third-party logistics organizations, large airlines, aviation companies, and pulp and paper mills have trusted IMT to transport their most valuable aerospace, helicopter, and machinery assets. IMT services all parts of Canada and the United States.
IMT utilizes the highest quality trucks and trailers, highly trained drivers, and experienced logistics teams in providing the best technical and customer service. IMT has been granted access to the most secure locations in North America through its participation in key security clearance programs, particularly with the National Defense agencies of Canada and the United States, and their secure military bases. IMT is one of the few carriers in North America that has specially designed operations, equipment, and personnel to service clients in the Aerospace industry and those that require specialty handling services.
IMT has an exclusive service agreement with Air Canada, its largest customer, and has recently added American Airlines to its customer base.
