Terragreen’s Advanced Plant: Turning Plastic Waste into High-Quality Diesel Fuel

Terragreen’s state-of-the-art plant is making significant strides in the conversion of plastic waste into premium diesel fuel. With a capacity to produce up to 950 liters of diesel fuel per tonne of mixed plastic waste, the plant processes a daily input of 30 tonnes, yielding an impressive 28,500 liters of diesel fuel. This fuel is on par with refinery-produced diesel from virgin oil and can seamlessly power standard diesel engines.

The quality of Terragreen’s diesel fuel meets stringent regulatory and efficiency standards. With a cetane number of 57, surpassing the average range of 51-54 for conventional diesel, it exhibits excellent combustion properties. Moreover, the fuel boasts a low sulphur content, well below the mandated limit of 15 ppm, typically reaching below 10 ppm. Additionally, its high lubricity reduces engine component wear, ensuring optimal performance.

What sets Terragreen’s diesel fuel apart is its uncompromising quality. It can be directly used in engines without blending with traditional diesel, providing a seamless and efficient fueling solution. This breakthrough technology not only addresses plastic waste but also offers a sustainable alternative to conventional diesel, promoting environmental stewardship and reducing reliance on fossil fuels.

Terragreen’s advanced plant exemplifies their dedication to innovation and environmental sustainability. By converting plastic waste into high-quality diesel fuel, they are making significant contributions to a cleaner and greener future.
